ABOUT US
Redmond Contracting Inc. is located in Cochrane, AB. We are dedicated professionals providing mobile welding, fabricating & mechanical repair services to the Southern Alberta area. We serve mining, cement, construction and maintenance industries, and pride ourself on our ability to work safe & get the job done.
Redmond Contracting was founded in 2013 by Curtis Redmond, a journeyman welder with 10+ years of experience in heavy industry. Curtis has earned a reputation for serving customers with quality workmanship, innovation, honesty & reliability. We have extensive shut down experience in industrial plants, and are experts in time management. You can rest assured that Redmond Contracting will do whatever it takes to get the job done, safely, on time & on budget.
AREAS OF SERVICE
Redmond Contracting is set up to handle any welding or repair task. We are fully equipped for mechanical repair, equipment alteration, site fabrication & installation. Our services include structural welding, B pressure pipe welding, mobile plasma cutting, mobile aluminum welding, Air Arc gouging, oxygen lance cutting and pin removal & mobile radiograph cutting. We also have the ability to fabricate off site, and can produce parts to meet your needs. Previous fabrication projects include safety hand rails, ladders, stairs, frames, cabinets (aluminum & steel), wear liner plates, grizzlies, excavator buckets, custom machined parts, guards, scrapers, elevator buckets, fuel tanks, aluminum fall arrest platforms & pipe spools.
HEAVY INDUSTRY
Industries served include cement (rotary kilns, cement coolers, ball mills, compressors, fans & refractory anchors), HVAC (piping systems, skids, water systems), rail, forestry, demolition & salvage, wastewater and transportation (trucks, flat decks, bed trailers, pole trailers, end dump & tank trailers).
MOBILE WELDING & FABRICATION

Our fleet includes 3 fully equipped mobile welding trucks, pickup with 24 foot deck trailer,enclosed tool trailer, portable electric welders, portable compressors & skid steers.
SAFETY
Redmond Contracting maintains an account in good standing with the Workers Compensation Board of Alberta, and is a member of AVETTA risk management. We pride ourselves on our zero lost time incident record, and have a fully developed health and safety program. All employees have CPR & first aid training. We hold daily tool box safety meetings & perform site hazard assessments. All employees have additional training to operate specific equipment, including telehandler, manlift, forklift & cranes.
HEAVY EQUIPMENT & MINING

Experienced with all heavy equipment including large wheel loaders, bulldozers, excavators, rock trucks & rock drills. Previous jobs includes processors, skidders & chippers, jaw & cone crushers and work on feeders, conveyors & elevators.
